Double Agent
One of the books I am currently reading is Yarn Harlot - The Secret Life of a Knitter by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee. In the book she has a chapter called Sour Grapes. In this chapter Stephanie rants about crocheting and her dislike of it although she isn't a good judge of character having never had a positive experience with crochet. It's a funny read overall.
Well, I knit and I crochet. I have been crocheting far longer than knitting and actually started with crocheting first because I found it much much easier. I am a "double agent" and I like being a "double agent".
I realize that my blog is called "Lil Miss Knits" and that the term knit or knitting doesn't mean crocheting and vice versa, but although they are different, they are similar. Both basically take a pile of yarn and make it into something beautiful in a series of stitches (or knots really).
I'm a double agent. Thanks Stephanie!
